Dr. Allan Nathan Sutker is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with an excellent reputation as a highly skilled sports medicine specialist. He is President of Plano Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Spine Center.
A graduate of Chicago Medical School, Dr. Sutker served a surgical internship at Los Angeles County General Hospital and an orthopedic residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. He received advanced specialty training through an AO fellowship in Switzerland, before coming back to the U.S. for further education. He completed two sports medicine fellowships for successful private orthopedic practices in Long Beach, California and Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Sutker has a strong interest in sports medicine and has served as a team physician for many local high school, college and professional teams. He is currently the team physician for J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas, Plano West Senior High School in Plano, Texas, Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas, and the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD).
Dr. Sutker is a member of many professional medical societies, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American College of Sports Medicine.
