A native of San Diego, California, Dr. Dean L. Moore is specialty trained in the field of podiatry with advanced training in orthotics and computerized gait analysis. Dr. Moore received his undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma then attended podiatry school at the California College of Podiatry in San Francisco. Dr. Moore completed his residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he served as Chief Resident in Primary Orthopedics. Dr. Moore was named Clinical Advisor in the Biomechanics Department at Temple School of Podiatry and served as a faculty member and instructor for the Pedorthics program. He also served on the advisory board with SOLO orthotics lab. Dr. Moore has lectured at numerous podiatry conferences on biomechanics of the foot. Dr. Moore provides treatment in primary foot care, but his main focus is treating and preventing foot injuries through the use of orthotics. Dr. Moore is able to provide advanced computerized gait analysis through the use of the F-scan machine, which measures a patient’s gait pattern through pressurized foot sensors. Dr. Moore resides in Frisco where he enjoys tennis, running, circuit training and photography. He has two sons and one daughter. Dr. Moore's oldest son is in the Marine corp stationed in Oklahoma, his daughter is married living in the Dallas area and his younger son is in the Military Academy.
