Dr. Earl Lund is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who holds the distinction of being a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex wrist disorders and is an expert in arthroscopic wrist procedures, having performed hundreds of arthroscopic surgeries.
Dr. Lund graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M and received his medical degree from UT-Galveston where he received the Jimmie Doyle Dickens Award for Excellence in Anatomy. Following his orthopedic residency, he pursued additional specialty training in hand surgery through a fellowship at USC/Orthopedic Hospital in Los Angeles and earned a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. Dr. Lund is a member of several professional medical societies, including the American Medical Association, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Texas Medical Association, Collin County Medical Society, and the Honorary Medical Service Fraternity.
Dr. Lund enjoys basketball, golf and snow skiing. He resides in Plano, Texas, with his wife, Dr. Karen Lund, who is a dermatologist.
