Our very own Monica Soper, PT, DPT from our Plano Therapy Center will be running in the Boston Marathon April 17th.
Monica attended the University of Kansas and Rockhurst University obtaining her degree in Exercise Science, prior to graduating with honors as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in May 2015.
Monica has a passion for sports rehabilitation, biomechanical analysis, and the treatment of orthopedic injuries. She is also passionate about identifying imbalances, deficits, or abnormal kinematics in individuals to help in the prevention of related injuries. Monica’s continuing education has been focused on the treatment and prevention of athletic injuries as well as the education and treatment of common running injuries.
Monica joined Plano Therapy Center in September 2015 and is looking forward to caring for the Plano Orthopedic Sports Medicine & Spine Center patients’.
Monica is a competitive marathon runner that enjoys not only running, but Kansas University basketball and traveling in her spare time.
