I am originally from East Texas (Longview). I graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and graduated with honors with my master of occupational therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.
I love all kinds of music and play several instruments – piano is my favorite, but I also play clarinet, I taught myself flute, and I tried guitar but it wasn’t for me. I enjoy attending music events and spending time outside. I love crafts and making things – I crochet and have made several blankets. I also do calligraphy and brush calligraphy, and water color painting.
I have two cats – Patrick and Penny.
I have a genuine passion for hand therapy – I knew before I entered OT school that I wanted to go into hands. I look at splinting as a technical molding project. My long term goal includes obtaining the CHT credential. I joined PTC in May of 2017.
