Alyssa Cancemi, MOT, OTR

Alyssa Cancemi, MOT, OTR, graduated Texas Tech University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies and minor in Health Professions. She completed her Master’s of Occupational Therapy in 2020 at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she cultivated her passion for hand therapy during her clinical rotation at Houston Methodist Clear Lake.

Alyssa began her career at POSMC and is currently working toward earning her Certified Hand Therapist License (CHT). She enjoys working with a variety of upper extremity patients and strives to promote independence and functional outcomes through the use of custom orthotics, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and physical agent modalities.

In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to be a part of the POSMC team and looks forward to working hand-in-hand to help you meet your goals!
