Lisa Free, PT

Lisa Free, PT moved to Plano after high school and has lived in Plano since 1990. She has been involved in sports her entire life and sustained a knee injury in high school that required surgery and extensive physical therapy. She realized the significant impact that physical therapy had on her being able to return to an active lifestyle that including participation in sports. This eventually led to her pursuing a career in physical therapy. She has an avid interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, orthopedic physical therapy and sports therapy. She graduated from University of Texas Southwestern Physical Therapy School in 1998 and was licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas. Over the past 22 years she has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedic settings but has also worked in the inpatient hospital setting. She has a strong background in sports therapy and post-operative rehabilitation. She enjoys the connection she has with her patients and the warm, friendly environment at Plano Therapy Center.

She lives in Plano with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys an active lifestyle and has continued to be involved in sports as well as martial arts.
