Heather McGary, PT

Heather McGary, PT was born and raised in Shreveport La and moved to Texas after high school. She graduated from University of Houston in 1998 with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology-Exercise Science followed by receiving her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2002. Heather’s passion for physical therapy began while she was a patient for a knee injury in high school. She has been treating in an orthopedic outpatient setting for 19 years with a passion for sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. Heather has received level 2 training with Kinesio University, International Spine and Pain Institute as well as mechanical diagnosis and treatment from McKenzie Institute. Heather enjoys working with her patients in a warm environment to regain their independence, decrease pain and increase strength through manual PT as well as therapeutic exercise and modalities.

Heather lives in Carrollton and is happily married to Mark and has 2 children. She enjoys watching her kids play sports, spending time with her family as well as watching movies, shopping, singing and going on Mission Trips.
