Monica Soper, PT, DPT

Monica Soper, PT, DPT attended the University of Kansas and Rockhurst University obtaining her degree in Exercise Science, prior to graduating at the top of her class and with honors as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in May 2015.

Monica has a passion for sports rehabilitation, biomechanical analysis, and the treatment of orthopedic injuries. She is also passionate about identifying imbalances, deficits, or abnormal kinematics in individuals to help in the prevention of sports or activity related injuries. Monica’s continuing education has been focused on the treatment and prevention of athletic injuries, treatment of common running injuries and shoulder rehabilitation. Monica also specializes in Trigger Point Dry Needling and she has received her certification through the Cincinnati Sports Medicine Sportsmetrics Program in ACL Injury Prevention.

Monica has been a physical therapist for Plano Orthopedics Sports Medicine since 2015 and she transitioned to Clinic Director at Frisco Therapy Center in December 2018.

Monica is a competitive marathon runner that enjoys spending time with her family, running, cycling the University of Kansas basketball and traveling in her spare time.
