The Procedure:
The surgery is done with the patient under general anesthesia and takes approximately one to two hours total. Patients can go home on the same day or, at most, stay overnight in observation if there’s no pain or other problems after leaving the hospital. Recovery time varies depending on each case but can range from several weeks to six months for more complicated issues, such as when an additional procedure needs to be performed simultaneously (rotator cuff repair). Most patients will feel some soreness around their shoulder area during recovery that typically goes away within four-six weeks post-surgery. It’s advisable not only for them but also for friends and family members who may need to help them out during this time.
Who needs arthroscopic bankart repair
People who suffer from chronic Shoulder pain in Richardson, tx need to have this looked into. An injury or trauma may cause this condition, but it can also occur with no known cause whatsoever; it is commonly seen among athletes such as baseball players, football players, gymnasts, weightlifters, and tennis/racquetball players due to repetitive overhead motions that put too much stress on the joint—this then causes tearing of one or more ligaments around the head of the humerus (upper arm bone), which decreases stability at its socket area called glenoid labrum (the cartilage ring attached to the shoulder socket), causing it to slip out of its socket (anterior instability) with every movement.
