What is it?
Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant or a Spinal Cord Stimulation (also called SCS) uses electrical current or impulses to relieve chronic pain of the back, arms and legs. It is believed that the electrical pulses prevent pain signals from reaching the brain therefore the interference stops you from feeling the pain. SCS candidates include people who suffer from neuropathic pain for whom most or all conservative treatments have failed to eliminate symptoms of spinal pain.
